With its dramatic sloping roofline and piercing headlights, the redesigned Kuga is poised to pounce. Inside, the Kuga is packed with clever tech and ways to connect, including Wi-Fi for up to ten devices, a head-up display and wireless charging. There’s also loads of savvy safety spec, including automatic braking and a handy self-parking system that will take control of your Kuga and position it perfectly in any parking spot.
The all-new Kuga has had some big updates – and not just to the design. There are now three hybrid options available in addition to the four conventional diesel, and petrol engines available.
With an advanced electric powertrain for zero-emissions on shorter trips and a 2.5-litre Duratec petrol engine for longer adventures, the plug-in hybrid offers 34 miles of electric range in total.
Don’t fancy plugging in? Choose the self-charging hybrid, instead. This smart system links the 2.5-litre petrol engine to an electric motor to deliver 50.4mpg and 130g/km.
Not ready to go full hybrid? There’s also a mild hybrid available, that uses 48V electric technology to lightly boost the efficiency of the Kuga’s 2.0-litre diesel engine.
A 1.5-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel variant will also be available, linked to either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearbox.
